Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) / Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)Practice Overview

This is a well-established specialty women’s health practice with multiple offices across Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. The practice is known for its collaborative culture, patient-centered care, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits package.


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a strong background in women’s health to join a collaborative OB/GYN practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to women across the lifespan in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive women’s health care across the lifespan

  • Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, and chronic conditions

  • Perform patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments

  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results

  • Educate and counsel patients on preventive care, wellness, and treatment options

  • Perform minor in-office procedures and initiate emergency interventions when necessary

  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other specialists to coordinate patient care

Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

  • Current WHNP or FNP board certification

  • Active Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses

  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)

  • Minimum of one year of women’s health experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range: $110,000–$135,000
