Accounting Manager | NOLA Hotel Group | New Orleans, LA

NOLA Hotel Group, a boutique hospitality company rooted in New Orleans, is seeking a full-time, in-person Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial strategies across our growing multi-property portfolio collection.

This is an opportunity for an accounting professional who is experienced in Excel and accounting standards to work for a dynamic, multi-property hospitality environment.

The Role:

 🔹 Accounting Oversight: Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and bank reconciliations.

🔹Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and budget-to-actual reports

🔹 Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections

🔹 Support internal controls by reviewing and approving invoices and monitoring AR aging, including collections follow-up

🔹 Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records across the portfolio

🔹 Supervise, train, and support accounting staff; assist with onboarding of new team members

🔹 Partner with the CEO and property teams to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting up and down the organization

What You Bring:

✔️ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

✔️ 2+ years of accounting experience; hospitality accounting experience strongly preferred

✔️ Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and comfort working with complex financial data

✔️ Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting

✔️ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

✔️ Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with property-level teams
