Typical Activities Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Institutional Equity & Compliance, the Equity & Compliance Investigator is responsible for receiving, processing and investigating complaints involving Title IX, DHR, OHR, ADA, and Whistleblower policy (collectively Equity). The incumbent will perform entry-level complaint processing, routine investigative work, data collection, interviews, and preparation of draft investigative reports.

Key Qualifications Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to compliance with nondiscrimination laws Including but not limited to: FEHA, the Americans with Disabilities Act, FERPA, Title VII and Title IX. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with administrators, staff, faculty, students and community partners. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and three years of related experience required.

J.D. or other related Master's Degree preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in higher education preferred
