Overview

NEO Surgical Group is seeking a detailoriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow and delivering an exceptional patient experience in a fastpaced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage patient appointment schedules accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and internal staff to support scheduling needs
  • Utilize HIPAAcompliant systems, including Athena One EMR, to schedule and maintain appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and privacy at all times
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address appointmentrelated inquiries professionally
  • Assist with general office administrative tasks such as filing and documentation
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize scheduling workflows
  • Ensure compliance with medical scheduling protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in medical scheduling, healthcare administration, or related roles preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures
  • Proficiency with scheduling and EMR systems (experience with Athena One preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently under pressure
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus
