Job Description:

A high-quality firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team. As a result, the attorney candidate must have strong litigation experience to be successful.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Handles a broad variety of civil, corporate, and commercial litigation matters.
• Understanding of federal, state and legal precedents. Ideal candidates must be Florida barred and must have experience in Federal Court, State Court, and other federal and state agencies. 
• Handles litigation cases from inception through resolution, including intake, drafting pleadings, depositions, meditations, and court appearances.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience as a civil trial lawyer.
• Experience in Federal and State Business Court is preferred. Court experience necessary.
• Must have a proven track record in legal research and drafting of pleadings, memos and briefs.
• Strong computer and organization skills required.
• Must bill a minimum 35+ hours a week.
• Existing book of business preferred but not required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can manage a full case load. 

Experience:

• Civil Trial: 7-10 years (Preferred)
