My Therapy

My Therapy Kids is a pediatric home health company seeking a compassionate and dependable Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide individualized therapy services to children in their homes, daycares, and other approved community settings.

The PT/PTA will help pediatric patients improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, gross motor development, endurance, and participation in daily activities. The therapist will work closely with each child’s family, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary care team to support functional progress and independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform pediatric physical therapy evaluations and reassessments and develop individualized plans of care, as applicable to the clinician’s license.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services based on the physician-approved plan of care.
• Address developmental delays, mobility limitations, balance, coordination, strength, gait, positioning, transfers, and gross motor skills.
• Educate parents and caregivers regarding home exercise programs, positioning, equipment, safety, and carryover strategies.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and submit visit notes within required timeframes.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising therapist, physician, and care team.
• Coordinate services with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow all company policies and applicable state, federal, Medicaid, HIPAA, and home-health requirements.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality during all services.
• For PTAs, provide treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and promptly report changes in the patient’s condition or progress.

Qualifications:

• Current Texas Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Graduate of an accredited PT or PTA program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Pediatric or home-health experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Successful completion of required background checks and health screenings.
