Work Environment

This full-time position requires working onsite at our rehabilitation center. Our facility offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you will work alongside experienced physical therapists and healthcare professionals. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while dedicating ample time to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify the objectives and requirements of each patient.
  • Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and specialized care.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective therapeutic strategies to enhance patients’ range of motion and mobility.
  • Minimize reliance on medication by recommending non-invasive treatment options.
  • Create individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Design fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term health and rehabilitation.
  • Deliver high-quality care based on evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic interventions.
  • Encourage and motivate patients, fostering their engagement and commitment to recovery.
  • Provide education on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through improved strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet rehabilitation goals.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of services rendered to each patient in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. A patient-centered approach is critical, as you’ll be addressing diverse needs and preferences, ensuring that each individual feels supported throughout their recovery journey. Your interventions will directly contribute to enhancing their functional capabilities and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
  • No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based therapy modalities.
  • Experience in designing and implementing personalized exercise programs tailored to individual rehabilitation goals.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Systems, specifically WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations and adapting treatment modalities appropriately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with patients and team members.
Compensation and Benefits
