Work Environment

The role is onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility located in Woodbridge, NJ. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a collaborative environment that emphasizes patient-centric care. Our outpatient clinic is designed to foster a supportive atmosphere, allowing you to engage fully with patients and colleagues alike, ensuring that every individual receives high-quality care throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized therapy plans that address their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a caseload that allows for meaningful interactions, dedicating ample one-on-one time to each patient to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Utilize a variety of orthopedic outpatient techniques to provide cost-effective and efficient treatments aimed at improving mobility and strength.
• Encourage non-surgical interventions, significantly reducing reliance on pharmaceuticals through alternative therapy options.
• Design and implement holistic treatment plans incorporating diverse modalities, ensuring they are evidence-based and in line with current best practices.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs that adhere to individual patients’ requirements and aspirations.
• Provide constant motivation and support to patients, empowering them during the recovery process and helping them achieve their personal goals.
• Regularly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and modify plans accordingly to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient progress and treatment provided through effective use of EMR systems, especially Web PT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters to a diverse array of outpatient clients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, workplace-related incidents, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Muscle Essential Physical Therapy, you will work closely with patients who are determined to regain their strength, restore function, and enhance their quality of life through effective rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active and exemplary Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of orthopedic outpatient care.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity and competency in utilizing EMR software, particularly Web PT, to assure accurate patient documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current research and methodologies in physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a busy outpatient clinic setting, managing a varied and diverse patient population.
• Demonstrated success in applying evidence-based practices in the development of treatment plans.
• Previous experience in sports medicine or rehabilitation fields is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, ranging between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
