Job Description
A Day in the Life
  • The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide evaluation and treatment services to patients. These services will include interventions within the SLP scope of practice, as outlined by ASHA, in a variety of settings and levels of care.
  • As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide evaluation and treatment services to patients. You will accurately administer appropriate diagnostic evaluation tools based on the diagnosis and age of each patient.
  • Along with providing quality treatment to our patients, you will keep medical records up to date, complete and in accordance with department and hospital guidelines for patients served.
  • You will be part of a great team! You will work collaboratively within the Interdisciplinary team and participate in department and interdepartmental efforts to improve processes and clinical treatments.

  • Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology
  • State of Michigan Speech/Language Pathology Licensure
