Position Overview:
As part of the talented Boston Whaler team, you will be the central hub for all departmental activity. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of the work order lifecycle-from initial request to final sign-off. Utilizing the Mpulse CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), you will prioritize repairs, allocate assets, and coordinate with production leads to ensure maintenance happens with minimal impact on boat-building timelines. The primary role of this position is scheduling followed by hands on maintenance and repair of facility equipment.

Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary administrator for Mpulse CMMS
- Monitor the Mpulse System for incoming work requests; review them for clarity, seek additional information as necessary, and determine level of urgency
- Prioritize "Line Down" emergencies vs. routine preventative maintenance (PM)
- Assign specific tasks to maintenance technicians based on skill set and current workload
- Ensure all work orders are coded correctly (labor hours, parts used, downtime) for accurate reporting
- Generate weekly KPIs for the Maintenance Supervisor (PM compliance, backlog aging, and average time to repair)
- Maintain a comprehensive list of all manufacturing assets (molds, overhead cranes, pneumatic systems, etc.) within the system
- Track the location and status of mobile assets and specialized tools to ensure they are available when and where production needs them
- Manage equipment manuals, warranty information, and service contracts
- Act as the liaison between the Maintenance Dept. and Production Managers to communicate scheduled downtime
- Assist in the administrative onboarding of outside contractors for specialized facility repairs
- Hands on maintenance and repair of facility equipment
- Hands-on repair of facility items and back-up support of the Tool Crib Administrator
- Participating in team meetings

Required Qualifications:
- Proven working experience with CMMS platforms specifically Mpulse
- Previous hands-on experience performing maintenance and repair of equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision and a decisive problem-solver who can handle the pressure of a fast-paced production environment
- Must be able to work a variable schedule, 10-hour workdays, and a 4- or 5-day work week
- High school diploma or GED Program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred 3+ years in a scheduling, planning, or administrative role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance terms and equipment to effectively prioritize technical requests and perform hands on maintenance and repair of equipment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate repair timelines to production with diplomacy
- Ability to analyze a list of 50 tasks and independently identify the 5 that are most critical to the day's production goals
- Proficient in inventory management software, Microsoft Office (specifically intermediate Excel), Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with PCL, Arduino, or Rasberry PI a plus
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based within the maintenance department, with frequent "floor walks" to verify asset status and communicate with technicians.
- Secondary in the facility working around machinery and equipment.
- Must be comfortable in a high-activity manufacturing plant environment.
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for the duration of a 10-hour shift. Comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment (varying temperatures and noise levels).
- Employees must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Theanticipatedpay range for this position is$22.00 - $32.98,hourly.The actual base pay offeredwillvary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills,relevantexperience, business needs,andgeographic location.
