What You'll Do

As a Solar Sales Consultant, you'll manage the entire sales cycle—from generating leads to closing deals and supporting customers through the installation process. This role is ideal for self-starters who thrive in a performance-driven environment and enjoy building relationships with homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through door-to-door prospecting, referrals, networking, and self-generated leads
• Conduct in-home solar consultations and educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy
• Assess customer needs and recommend customized solar solutions
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through contract signing
• Maintain accurate records and follow up with prospects in a timely manner
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics
• Represent Mpower Solar with professionalism and integrity in the field

Compensation & Benefits

Earning Potential: $100,000–$160,000+ Annually

• Guaranteed base pay of $800 per week
• $300 per kW commission
• $50 per kW override
• $50 per kW vesting bonus
• $500 monthly vehicle stipend
• Uncapped commission structure
• Paid training and ongoing sales support
• Full-time W-2 employment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of solar sales experience required
• Proven ability to generate leads and close sales
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
