Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where our modern resources and supportive team create an ideal space for therapy practice. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment and employs advanced techniques in physical therapy. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for structured work hours conducive to both patient care and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

As our Senior Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Thoroughly evaluating and treating patients facing a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical cases and sports-related injuries.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and functional goals.
• Utilizing evidence-based methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Educating patients on proper movement mechanics and developing home exercise programs aimed at injury prevention and enhancing recovery.
• Collaborating with our team of orthopedic physicians and medical staff to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Maintaining detailed, accurate patient records within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, fostering effective communication and continuity of care.
• Continuously updating your knowledge and skills related to best practices in orthopedic physical therapy to stay at the forefront of the profession.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers around providing care predominantly to elderly individuals within our rehabilitation facility. Our patient population is characterized by those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, and aiming for enhanced mobility and independence. A profound understanding of geriatric care principles is beneficial in delivering the highest quality of therapeutic services to this demographic.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• An ability to develop and execute comprehensive patient-specific treatment plans.
• A genuine passion for helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and an inclination towards lifelong learning.
• The capability to work both independently and as an effective member of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy is required, experience in an Assisted Living Facility is preferred, as it better prepares candidates for the unique needs of our elderly clientele. A familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques that address age-related mobility issues can be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a rewarding salary, our benefits package includes:
