Position Overview

Mountain Side Health Center LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers a flexible work environment that allows you to make a substantive impact on the mental health and well-being of clients in our detox center. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based therapeutic services, advocating for client needs, and contributing to holistic treatment plans tailored to individual client circumstances.

About the Organization

Located in Lakewood, New Jersey, Mountain Side Health Center LLC is a community-focused mental health center committed to providing accessible and comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families, irrespective of socioeconomic status. Our center prides itself on fostering collaborative relationships with community organizations and promoting person-centered care that drives positive outcomes. Our dedicated team of mental health professionals specializes in a broad spectrum of services, from counseling and crisis intervention to case management and psychiatric medication support.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing licensed professionals throughout New Jersey to engage meaningfully with clients without the constraints of a physical workspace. While our detox center serves as our treatment facility, this remote setting encourages flexibility in how you approach client care. Whether conducting virtual therapy sessions or collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you are empowered to provide high-quality support while prioritizing your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, identifying strengths and barriers to recovery.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, adapting methodologies to align with clients’ personal histories and cultural backgrounds.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to foster resilience and recovery.
  • Draft personalized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals, actionable interventions, and methods for progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure cohesive treatment strategies and coordinated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans to handle acute mental health issues promptly.
  • Advocate for clients’ rights and connect them with community resources while offering case management support to navigate healthcare systems effectively.
  • Engage in proactive community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health resources and destigmatize mental health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population at Mountain Side Health Center encompasses diverse individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. You will work with clients in crisis situations, including those in need of detox services, and will be instrumental in guiding them toward recovery. Your role as an LCSW will focus on fostering therapeutic relationships that empower clients to regain a sense of hope, stability, and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.
  • Proficiency in mental health assessments and intervention techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in community mental health settings, particularly in detox or addiction recovery environments, will be viewed favorably. A solid understanding of cultural competence and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Mountain Side Health Center LLC offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a generous sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include:

  • Comprehensive health insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • Generous paid time off policies, including vacation, sick leave, and personal day allocations.
  • Opportunities for professional development through training and workshops, ensuring practice standards are met and that employees stay updated with industry trends.
