A well-established weekly newspaper serving a community of 45,000 readers is seeking an Associate Editor to join our small, fast-paced newsroom in Daytona Beach. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting one print publication and its companion website.
The Associate Editor plays a key role in shaping weekly coverage, editing and producing content, and keeping the newsroom running smoothly. This is a hands-on job for someone who loves local journalism, thrives on deadlines, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Hometown News is a group of 15 award-winning community newspapers that serve the communities of eastern Florida from Volusia County south to Martin County. Our mission is to be the best local news and information provider in the communities we serve. We distribute just over 45,000 copies of our newspapers each week to our subscribers, with a small amount going to area racks and other bulk drop locations.
