Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Implementing treatment plans designed by a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on rehabilitative care for older adults.
• Conducting wellness checkpoint visits for patients to monitor progress and ensure adherence to treatment regimes.
• Facilitating effective communication among patients, their caregivers, and their healthcare providers, especially during telehealth appointments.
• Maintaining and upholding professional practices, including ethical standards that align with the company policies.
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and participating in the development of patient care programs.
• Encouraging patients in their rehabilitation journeys by optimizing their functional well-being and overall satisfaction with therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus primarily on older adult patients who require varied rehabilitation strategies. Understanding the unique needs of this population is essential to delivering effective therapy services. Your ability to provide compassionate, tailored care will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Colorado.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience as a PTA, we welcome new graduates who demonstrate enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn. Previous experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable, although not required. Candidates with experience in care coordination will have an edge in this position.

Compensation and Benefits
