Laundry Aide

Job Summary:

Join our team at Serenity Estates of Morris, a premier provider of senior care, as a Laundry Aide. As a valued member of our staff, you will contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents by ensuring their laundry needs are met with precision and care. With a focus on holistic wellness and attention to detail, we strive to provide exceptional care and a sense of serenity to each resident.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Handle and process confidential resident information with discretion and professionalism
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Demonstrate respect, empathy, and compassion when interacting with residents and colleagues

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and move laundry items weighing up to 25 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
