Job description

  • We run a busy, independent repair shop with a steady volume of work and a loyal customer base. We focus entirely on gas-powered cars, SUVs, and light trucks we do not work on diesel vehicles. If you are looking for a straightforward, organized shop environment with steady hours and a weekends-off schedule, this is the place for you.

    What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: Strong hourly or flat-rate compensation based on your experience level.

  • Paid Holidays: Enjoy paid time off for major holidays [list holidays if desired, e.g., New Year's, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas].

  • Stable Schedule: Monday through Friday day shifts only. Keep your weekends for yourself.

  • Great Work Environment: Modern diagnostic equipment, a clean workspace, and a supportive team.

  • Please note: We do not offer health insurance or retirement benefits at this time.

    Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for handling bumper-to-bumper general repairs on domestic and import passenger vehicles and light-duty gas trucks.

  • General Repair: Perform high-quality work across all major systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, cooling systems, and engine mechanical.

  • Diagnostics: Use scan tools to troubleshoot check engine lights, driveability issues, and electrical faults.

  • Maintenance: Complete routine services like alignments, fluid flushes, tune-ups, and timing belts.

  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and test-drive vehicles to ensure repairs are done right the first time.

  • Job Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as an automotive mechanic is highly preferred.

  • Tools: Must own and bring an extensive supply of your own hand tools and a rolling toolbox/cart suitable for everyday general shop repairs.

  • Exclusion: Experience with diesel is not necessary; this position is strictly for gasoline passenger vehicles and light trucks.

  • License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be able to test-drive customer vehicles).

  • Mindset: Reliable, efficient, and focused on turning out safe, high-quality work.
