What you'll do: The Mid-Level Financial Systems Analyst will provide business and financial support to PAE Maritime/SEA 21, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment. Responsibilities: * Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets by measuring organizational performance and assessing the effects of various programs and policies on the budget. * Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods. * Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets. May conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures. * Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events. * Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines. * Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action. * Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation * Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items * Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations * Attend meetings and program reviews,assistwith compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications asrequired * Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients.
