PRIMARY MISSION Your immediate responsibility is to become a dependable extra set of hands for the crews while helping with driving, deliveries, materials, and equipment. Your long-term opportunity is to learn Moore Stone’s standards and develop the skills necessary to lead a crew in the future. FIELD RESPONSIBILITIES Work directly with Moore Stone foremen and crews. Assist with masonry, stonework, hardscape, demolition, preparation, cleanup, and general construction. Follow the foreman’s daily instructions. Help crews maintain productivity. Prepare tools, equipment, and materials. Load and unload trucks. Maintain clean and organized jobsites. Protect client property. Help complete punch-list and repair work. Learn project scopes, construction methods, and company quality standards. Report problems, damaged materials, or unsafe conditions immediately. RESPONSABILIDADES DE CAMPO Trabajar directamente con los capataces y equipos de Moore Stone. Reportar inmediatamente problemas, materiales dañados o condiciones inseguras. DRIVING & DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate assigned company vehicles. Pick up materials from suppliers. Deliver materials to the correct jobsite and crew. Move tools, equipment, trailers, and supplies when assigned. Verify material type and quantity before leaving the supplier. Obtain and return all receipts. Communicate delays or incorrect orders immediately. Keep company vehicles clean and organized. Perform basic vehicle inspections. Report damage or maintenance concerns immediately. Follow all traffic, safety, and company requirements. FOREMAN DEVELOPMENT The right employee will be trained and evaluated for future advancement into a foreman position. Development may include: Reading project scopes and plans Understanding daily production goals Planning tools and material needs Communicating with crew members Maintaining quality standards Documenting project progress Supporting jobsite safety Identifying problems early Communicating professionally with clients Leading small tasks or portions of a project Taking responsibility for completing assigned work Promotion is not automatic. Advancement will be based on performance, reliability, leadership, communication, construction ability, and the needs of the company. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Construction, masonry, hardscape, landscape, concrete, excavation, or similar field experience Valid driver’s license Acceptable driving record Reliable attendance Ability to perform physical construction work Ability to lift and move construction materials Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for company communication Willingness to drive, make deliveries, and work with crews Willingness to learn and accept feedback A CDL is a major advantage but is not required unless the assigned vehicle requires it. Bilingual English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
