Job description


Moonlight Medical is seeking licensed mental health providers to conduct Mental Status Evaluations (MSEs) for individuals undergoing disability examinations in your local area.

These are interview-based evaluations only. There is no treatment, prescribing, psychotherapy, ongoing patient management, or follow-up care associated with this role.

Position Highlights

  • Approximately 7–8 scheduled evaluations during a 10-hour clinic day
  • One-hour appointment scheduled for each evaluation
  • Flexible scheduling with clinic dates released approximately 30–45 days in advance
  • Typical commitment of 1–2 Saturdays per month
  • Professional administrative support provided throughout the clinic day
  • Medical malpractice coverage included
  • Standardized evaluation and documentation process

This role is often an excellent fit for Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and other qualified mental health providers seeking a flexible clinical commitment that complements an existing practice or professional schedule.

Qualified providers should have:

  • An active, unrestricted state license
  • A favorable professional history
  • Residence within a reasonable driving distance of the clinic location
