Job description

Location: New Rochelle, New York. Pay Range: $120,000.00–$150,000.00.

Position Summary

The Nurse Manager provides daily support and guidance to the nursing staff and is essential in order to continue in the redesign and adhere to our patient centered requirements.

Job Duties
  • Support a multi‑specialty practice which includes internal medicine and specialty/subspecialty providers, including but not limited to Cardiology, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN and Urology.
  • Oversee all clinical and administrative functions performed by the nursing staff to assure clinical and fiscal objectives are met.
  • Ensure quality patient/family‑centered care is provided timely and resolve patient/customer satisfaction issues timely.
  • Supervise, train and evaluate staff.
  • Act as liaison between Montefiore Medical Group and Montefiore New Rochelle administrative and clinical departments.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures according to evidence‑based practice in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
Education and Requirements
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Valid NYS Nursing License.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical environment, along with progressive leadership experience.
  • BLS/Infection Control Certifications.
