We are looking for a Professional Engineer to join our team in the Public Water Supply and Subdivision programs of DEQ.  Professional Engineers are responsible for performing professional engineering work requiring licensure. Consult, investigate, evaluate, plan, and review engineering works and systems, such as drinking water, wastewater, and subdivision components.

The Professional Engineer position includes a career ladder for professional development and pay progression.  

Position can be located in Helena or Bozeman

Minimum requirements include:
    Licensed professional engineer as required by Section 37-67-301, MCA, and the Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.   
    Education and experience requirements as described by Section 37-67-323, MCA. 
    Preferred Experience in mining and/or environmental engineering. 
    Current valid Driver's License and clean driving record in accordance with State of Montana Vehicle Use Policy

Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Engineers In Training will be considered.
