This is a 2nd shift position:  Mon-Fri  4:45 pm - 1:15 am

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Plasma Operator/ Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake and CNC Plasma Table machines and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality metal components while adhering to safety standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Operate      press brake & CNC Plasma machines to cut, bend and shape metal      components according to specifications.
  • Read      and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning      and Tolerancing) to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
  • Utilize      hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions      and quality of finished products.
  • Perform      routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal      performance.
  • Collaborate      with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow      efficiency.
  • Safely      operate forklifts & overhead cranes for material handling as needed.
  • Assist      in programming the press brake, and CNC Plasma table for complex cuts,      bends and shapes, ensuring precision in production.

Experience

  • Proven      experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a steel,      fabrication manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity      with basic math skills, using measurements and calculations.
  • Ability      to read technical drawings and schematics effectively.
  • Experience      with hand tools and quality inspection techniques is preferred.
  • Knowledge      of safety standards in manufacturing settings is essential.
