Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests and measurements to inform treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities to enhance patients' functional outcomes, including strength training, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet individual goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop integrated care plans that address the multifaceted needs of patients.
• Provide ongoing education and support to patients and their families regarding home exercises, pain management techniques, and overall wellness strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic pain, and patients with neurological conditions. You will utilize your clinical expertise to adapt treatment strategies that accommodate a range of physical abilities and needs, ensuring each patient receives personalized care that promotes optimal recovery and functionality.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is required.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, physical therapy modalities, and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using technology and electronic medical records for documentation and reporting purposes.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with specialized treatment modalities and therapeutic equipment is a plus.
• Prior experience in developing and executing treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist role ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
