Job Summary:
The UX/UI Developer works closely with the User Experience team to translate complex business requirements into simple, elegant, browser-based user interfaces solutions.
The candidate will maintain and govern the live UI Style Guide in collaboration with UI developers across multiple Agile teams.
The candidate will be a driven self-starter and thrive in a fast paced, fast thinking environment.Â
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
The UI Developer operates effectively as a member of the User Experience teamÂ
Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high qualityÂ
Responsible for the development of web applications and componentsÂ
Effectively develops in a clean, well structured, easily maintainable formatÂ
Utilizes storyboarding and graphic pre-designs where appropriateÂ
Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skillsÂ
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environmentsÂ
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Web Interface Design, or comparable professional experience required.Â
Experience, Knowledge and Tools:
Experience in designing, marking up, developing the UI of websites and/or web applicationsÂ
Minimum of 3 years of web development and UI development experience is requiredÂ
Front-end skills and some basic understanding of how back-end development worksÂ
Solid markup skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScriptÂ
Practical exposure and/or experience with: Angular JS; Styling CSS, SASSÂ
Solid understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usabilityÂ
Strong written and oral communication skillsÂ
Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and an Agile, .NET development, team-oriented environment that the teams (not this person) are developing multi-tier SaaS products with web-based, plugin-based, mobile-based clients on the Microsoft HTM5/JS/C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stackÂ
A portfolio that demonstrates innovation and proven record of design success across multiple platformsÂ
