Position Overview

Mobility Works Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our dynamic team in Cypress, Florida. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care through tailored physical therapy programs in accordance with each patient's clinical needs.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations that include interdisciplinary history reviews and appropriate assessments to inform treatment decisions.

  • Implement treatment plans outlined by supervising physical therapists, providing ongoing assessments and modifications as clinically indicated.

  • Accurately document patient progress, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

  • Engage in discharge planning and follow-up to ensure continuity of care and optimal long-term recovery for patients.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to discuss patient progress and strategies that promote holistic recovery.

  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and staff meetings to enhance both personal and team development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our patient-centered approach ensures that you will be encouraged to form meaningful relationships with patients, understanding their unique challenges and career needs. Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.

  • Active physical therapy license valid in the state of Florida.

  • Current American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, particularly in an outpatient setting. Candidates who have experience using evidence-based practices for orthopedic rehabilitation will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential for maintaining accurate documentation and compliance.
