In addition, you will oversee our e-commerce platform (Shopify) and productivity applications like Adobe, Microsoft, Crystal Reports, and Avantalytics
  • Manage the administration and architecture of the enterprise application portfolio, including ERP (Sage), financial/HR (ADP) systems.
  • Oversee operational workflows for order management, inventory control, and production planning, including EDI integrations with major retailers.
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and SQL queries to support data-driven decision-making across finance, supply chain, and sales teams.
  • Lead digital transformation projects, focusing on system modernization, cloud migration, and the implementation of AI and data analytics strategies.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the Managed Service Provider to ensure infrastructure reliability, cybersecurity compliance, and helpdesk performance.
  • Author and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system architecture diagrams for all business processes.
  • Evaluate cross-functional workflows to identify opportunities for technology-driven automation and continuous process improvement.
  • Coordinate end-user training and provide senior-level technical escalation support for complex application and data issues.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in ERP system administration or core business systems management, preferably Sage
  • Proven experience managing enterprise platforms within manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL query writing, database structures, and data integration techniques.
  • Functional knowledge of accounting systems and payroll/HRMS platforms.
  • Experience managing third-party IT vendors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and service contracts.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Windows environments, network infrastructure (VPNs, LAN/WAN), and specialized peripheral hardware.
  • Preferred Location: On-site or Hybrid for candidates living within a commutable distance to Grand Saline, TX (allows for direct, hands-on support with the team and on-site infrastructure).
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with specialized horticultural or nursery management software.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and business intelligence reporting tools.
  • Background in agricultural technology or seasonal production industries.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement/401k plan.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.

About your mission

This wholesale nursery and plant-breeding enterprise specializes in developing and distributing high-performance flora for international markets. The company focuses on the innovation of resilient plant varieties designed for retail ease and consumer longevity. By combining horticultural science with commercial scale, they manage the end-to-end lifecycle of unique botanical collections for a global customer base.

This company is leveraging software engineers and industry professionals to grow its business and streamline processes.

About the client

Our client operates a portfolio of established consumer brands sold through national retail partners and direct online channels. They combine in-house product development with a strong distribution network and are now focused on strengthening and scaling their ecommerce capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of ecommerce operations, digital marketing, and revenue performance. The mandate is not to “reimagine” the business, but to build the systems, processes, and momentum needed to unlock growth across existing channels.

How long does the vetting process take?

We don\'t waste your time and make it short and efficient. While it can vary from a person to another let\'s count 15 minutes to complete your profile, 15 minutes to do the video interview, 1 hour to complete the coding challenge.

How long from first contact until I start working?

This will mostly depend on the timeline of our client, but it can go really fast. If our client urgently needs a new developer, you could start working as soon as one week after the first contact.

What happens if I pass your vetting?

If you pass the vetting process successfully, you will be shortlisted, ranked and introduced to the client. If your profile is selected by our client, you will likely be interview by the hiring manager or your Mission team leads on the mandate.

How many interviews would I have to go through if I am selected?

While it depends on the client the minimum to expect is one. We provide the details when the candidate is selected for a first interview.

What happens if I am not selected?

If you\'re not selected for the specfic role you\'ve applied for, you may still have a chance to join our community and apply for other role in the future. But to do so, you\'ll need to perform well on your coding challenge and have a great video recording.

What currency are you using?

We’re paying everyone in USD except CAD for people living in Canada. We’re using a third party payment solution provider which allow to withdraw the money in other currencies if needed.

Do you provide paid vacations?
