Minnesota Lakes Bank

Minnesota Lakes Bank is seeking a Consumer Lender/Personal Banker. This position may share time between the Delano and Mound locations. The candidate will provide service to customers and prospective customers seeking consumer and real estate loans, manage and grow consumer and residential real estate loan portfolios, and provide support to other employees for overall bank efficiency.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below:

Service Residential Real Estate Loan Customers

• Process loan applications
• Analyze customer’s financial information
• Make credit decisions within loan policy guidelines
• Ensure timely application process and follow-through to closing
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and required compliance documentation is in order
• Refer customers to the secondary real estate loan market as necessary

Service Consumer Loan Customers

• Receive and process consumer loan applications
• Determine applicant qualifications for credit check, credit history, employment, and debt ratio
• Arrange to have bank’s secured interest recorded on all collateral
• Perform collection work on delinquent loans
• Assure that all appropriate loan documents are completed and signed

Provide Banking Services for Any Customer as Circumstances Dictate

• Assist walk-in and call-in customers with questions
• Provide staff coverage or other branch duties as necessary
• Assist other bank staff as needed

Community Involvement

• Participate in community events and organizations that improve the quality of life in the communities we serve

Perform Other Job-related Duties or Special Projects as Assigned

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred
• Minimum two years post-high school degree or equivalent certification

Minimum Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in banking operations, lending, or industry related experience is required
