Join our dynamic team as an Academic Mindset Tutor and play a vital role in fostering positive learning attitudes and confidence among students. In this position, you will inspire learners by implementing engaging teaching strategies, supporting their academic growth, and nurturing a growth mindset. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help students develop resilience, motivation, and a love for learning, setting them up for success both inside and outside the classroom.

*Please note that tutoring services will be provided in the client's home, an alternate location, or via virtual learning. There is no current center for this position.

*I need tutors willing to serve students in Maryland and DC areas.*

• Design and deliver engaging lessons focused on building students’ confidence, motivation, and perseverance across various subjects
• Develop tailored curriculum materials that align with students’ individual needs and learning goals
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support student progress and address any behavioral or emotional challenges
• Track student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement

• Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children in educational settings
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies
• Familiarity with learning technology tools used for remote or in-person instruction
• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds, including those with special education needs or early childhood education experience
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Passion for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth mindset principles
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles
