Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify individual mental health concerns, strengths, and resources.
• Provide direct individual, family, and group therapy based on evidence-based treatment modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans, setting specific goals and interventions tailored to client needs.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective care.
• Engage in crisis intervention, conducting risk assessments and creating safety plans when necessary.
• Facilitate psychoeducation classes, support groups, and group therapy sessions to enhance client empowerment and community support.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves clients in a hospice setting dealing with a spectrum of mental health challenges, including those related to terminal illness, grief, and end-of-life issues. You will engage with clients of all ages, tailoring interventions to align with their unique life experiences, needs, and cultural backgrounds, thereby promoting a respectful and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and assessment skills.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in mental health or outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches specific to hospice or palliative care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
