Position Overview

Mindful Recovery Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the flexibility of working from home while playing a critical role in improving the mental health and well-being of our clients in Aurora, Illinois, and beyond. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges, using standardized tools and clinical interviews.
  • Implement individualized therapy strategies to facilitate healing and personal growth, engaging clients in discussions to understand their unique circumstances.
  • Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms for providing remote counseling sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients facing mobility or location challenges.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation to uphold ethical standards and provide accurate records of client interactions and treatment progress.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and training to stay informed about the latest trends in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As an LMFT, you will work with individuals, couples, and families, applying systemic therapeutic techniques aimed at fostering holistic recovery. Your experience in navigating family dynamics and interpersonal relationships will be essential in guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust with clients effectively.
  • A demonstrated capacity for empathy and a nonjudgmental approach, creating a safe environment for clients to share their experiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a diverse caseload and administrative responsibilities effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly in modalities addressing trauma, anxiety, and addiction.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation practices.
  • Previous work involving group therapy sessions is highly favorable.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials. In addition, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
