Mind Well Behavioral Services is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in Rockford, Illinois. This full-time remote position allows you to provide essential mental health support and therapeutic services to a diverse patient population from the comfort of your own space.

Work Environment

This remote role provides flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a strong connection with our outpatient office. You will leverage technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information and collaborate with your colleagues. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health, identifying their individual needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individual and group, employing inclusive and culturally responsive approaches to therapy.
• Provide ongoing support and resources to patients, equipping them with tools to manage their conditions and promote their overall well-being.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals when referrals or consultations are necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor with Mind Well Behavioral Services, you will primarily work with adults experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma-informed care needs, and substance use disorders. Your experience and cultural competence will be essential in understanding and addressing the unique backgrounds and challenges faced by your clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure, such as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing both group and individual therapy, utilizing culturally responsive approaches.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and other computer applications for managing clinical documentation.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills, with the capability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, new team members can look forward to a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
