Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health needs and formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to promote healing and growth.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and educational staff, to ensure comprehensive, holistic care for clients.
• Document client progress meticulously through accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, including training and supervision, to enhance clinical skills and stay current on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve at Mind Ward Psychotherapy Center encompass a wide variety of backgrounds and mental health issues, ranging from anxiety disorders and depression to relationship difficulties and trauma. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active and valid California state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is necessary to be successful in this role.
• Strong understanding of various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum required experience is three years, candidates with additional experience in school settings or with children and adolescents will find this role particularly suited to their background. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy tools is also a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits
