Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to establish understanding of their mental health history, challenges, and goals for treatment.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide individualized and group therapy sessions, fostering personal growth and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with clients to set measurable therapeutic goals and regularly assess and document progress towards these goals.
  • Provide teletherapy services to clients who may face mobility challenges or prefer virtual counseling options, ensuring accessibility to our services.
  • Maintain comprehensive, confidential documentation and treatment records in compliance with ethical standards and state regulations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development opportunities such as workshops and training to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and substance use disorders. Your therapeutic interventions will aim to empower patients to understand their experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster resilience, ultimately contributing to their recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to build trusting and supportive relationships with clients.
  • Empathetic, nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences, fostering a safe space for open discussion and exploration.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle a caseload and complete administrative duties.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing teletherapy services is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge or specialization in areas such as addiction treatment or trauma-informed care is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a private practice setting or similar environment is a plus.
