Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their unique needs and develop personalized therapy strategies.
• Provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy using evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and improve client outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and share best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Mind Therapy Centre, you will engage with a diverse client base, including adults, adolescents, and families from various socio-economic backgrounds. Many clients come to us seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Your role will be vital in providing empathetic care and effective treatment to those who may have limited access to mental health services.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting. This experience will ensure that you are prepared for the unique challenges faced by our clients.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies necessary for managing client data and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specializing in family therapy, couple’s therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment.
• Familiarity with culturally responsive therapeutic practices that address the unique needs of various communities.
• Training in advanced therapeutic techniques and ongoing participation in professional development opportunities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
