Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their challenges.
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client goals, utilizing therapeutic techniques that are effective in achieving positive outcomes.
• Providing one-on-one, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing appropriate therapeutic interventions suited to diverse client backgrounds.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams—including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals—to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring that all documentation is detailed and up to date.
• Participating in clinical supervision, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A valid License as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A proven track record of conducting individual and group therapy in mental health contexts.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to mental health treatment, ensuring effective approaches are utilized.

Compensation and Benefits
