Miltec UV is seeking a full-time Production Assembler to join our Manufacturing Team.

This individual will perform production assembly processes in the Manufacturing Department and support fabrication of quartz bulbs in our Bulb Division.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform manufacturing duties to include making liners, shutters and cables, ignition bulbs, ADV Screens, and various other part assemblies.
  • Perform quartz fabrication processes to include snap cutting, torch operations, testing, packaging, inspection, operating a laboratory glass washer and auto lathe.
  • Light machining/fabrication.
  • Fundamental machine wiring techniques, such as cutting, terminating, soldering and crimping wire.
  • Maintain clean work environment
  • Follow published Work Instructions and Procedures
  • Observe, recognize, and promote safe manufacturing practices.
  • Learn and comprehend the duties and responsibilities of an Electromechanical Assembler.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of the use of hand tools, power tools and measurement devices.
  • Ensure meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of understanding and effectively communicating with other staff members about all related functions.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills.

Work Hours
Miltec business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. We offer three optional flexible work schedules:
  • Plan A – Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch (40 hours)
  • Plan B – Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch OR 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 30-minute lunch (40 hours) – Friday off
  • Plan C – Tuesday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch OR 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 30-minute lunch (40 hours) – Monday off
