Miles Chevrolet is seeking an Automotive Experienced Technician to join our team in Decatur, IL. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Use specialized tools and equipment to identify and fix mechanical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Diagnose vehicle problems using computerized diagnostics and manual inspection methods.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician with strong diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance tools, equipment, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Certification from an accredited automotive technical school or ASE certification preferred.
