Job description

Salary:

MFM Limited Partnership is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for the position ofShop Lube Technicianto join our operation at Kearl Lake. MFM Limited Partnership, a Mikisew Group company, provides comprehensive Client services in vehicle inspection and light duty repair and overhead crane services.


Schedule:14 days on, 14 days off, 11.50 hours per day. Work is conducted under an Hours of Work Averaging Arrangement (HWAA) -formerlyknown as a Compressed Work Week.

Work Location:Position will be based at the Kearl Lake facility, located North of Fort McMurray, AB.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Changing oil and filters as outlined in PM task lists
  • Executing and completing detailed inspection reports as provided
  • Collecting compartment oil samples for analysis and monitoring
  • Cut open oil filters for inspection
  • Basic maintenance repairs such as lights, wiper blades, etc.
  • Ensure work areas are cleaned
  • Spot washing of equipment when required
  • Cleaning of equipment cabs if required
  • Moving of equipment to prepare for maintenance if required
  • Follow worksite safety policies and practices
  • Other duties as required


Qualifications:

  • Experience in maintenance and repair
  • Heavy Equipment Technician Pre-App (preferred)
  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Forklift certification
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driver's abstract
  • Standard First Aid
  • Able to carry out written and oral instructions
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Able to successfully obtain clearance of a Pre-access Alcohol & Drug Screening test
