Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate PM Line Cook to join our Mighty Donuts team. 10am start time to 4pm (THURSDAY - SUNDAY) The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in high volume cooking or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for cooking breakfast menu items, prepping items for service, cleaning the kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Our space is a high volume environment, and is primarily breakfast and brunch food with a smaller lunch menu. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Utilize knife skills for meal preparation and presentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in high volume restaurants or catering
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation
• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Has a method of transportation to arrive on time for an early shift
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
