Position Summary:

Check in, process different media formats for different libraries, and prepare for shipping.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must fulfill the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements listed below.

  1. Remove cellophane from DVDs, CDs, and Audiobooks
  2. Remove disc from original case and place in new case (if needed)
  3. Replace cover art
  4. Apply overlays and stickers
  5. Verify that completed product meets specifications per work instructions.
  6. Meet established production standards.

Skills:

  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to file alphabetically.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and operating manuals.
  • Must possess organizational skills.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1 year in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

  • Ability to use sharp utility spatula (Razor Blade).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive functions.
