Part Time Evening/Weekend Med Aide

Join our compassionate team at Midwest Covenant Home Inc. in Stromsburg, NE. Are you a caring and compassionate individual looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors? Midwest Covenant Home Inc. in Stromsburg, NE is seeking a dedicated Assisted Living Med Aide to provide quality care and support to our residents.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.
  • Administer medications following prescribed dosages and schedules.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in residents' conditions.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Assist with housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Medication Aide certification required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
  • Basic computer skills.
