The Middletown Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload, establishing rapport and strong therapeutic relationships with clients while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular client meetings to assess progress, evaluate mental health stability, and plan for appropriate discharge when suitable.
• Design, implement, and continuously monitor personalized treatment plans in conjunction with client goals, ensuring that each plan is tailored to meet unique needs.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates for each client, to support ongoing quality of care.
• Utilize various treatment modalities, creating interventions that reflect the latest evidence-based practices and adapting them as necessary for individual client circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults, children, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. At the Middletown Counseling Center, client care extends beyond just treatment; we aim to empower individuals by promoting personal growth and resilience. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience in a clinical outpatient setting post-graduation.
• Proficiency in using computers and software relevant to case management, including Microsoft Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with an emphasis on a client-centered approach.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, incorporating feedback and shared resources for enhanced client care.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and clinical assessment techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, employees enjoy various benefits, including:
