Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients suffering from chronic pain, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, psychologists, and nursing staff, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies, making informed decisions that align with treatment goals.
  • Perform essential pain management procedures, such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, ensuring all procedures are conducted with the highest safety standards.
  • Regularly monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patient feedback and clinical guidelines.
  • Utilize our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation, supporting continuity of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development training to remain current with the latest advancements in pain management and healthcare best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At MidWest Pain Relief Center, we cater to a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on patients with chronic pain conditions stemming from various underlying health issues, including musculoskeletal disorders, post-surgical pain, and injuries. As a Physician Assistant, you will engage with patients ranging from young adults to seniors, tailoring your approach to meet their specific clinical and emotional needs.

Qualifications
  • A valid, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in New York.
  • Completion of a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in pain management or a related healthcare field.
  • Proficiency in utilizing medical documentation and electronic health records systems effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, with strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and their families.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience performing pain management procedures, including familiarity with various injection techniques.
  • Experience in a surgical center or a similar clinical setting, emphasizing pain management.
  • Proven ability to engage in continuous learning and adapt to evolving practices in healthcare.
Compensation and Benefits
