Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen and Bath Designer role based in Fredericksburg, VA. The designer will meet with customers and contractors to assess project needs, provide design consultations, and recommend cabinetry and product solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed kitchen and bath layouts, preparing quotes, and coordinating orders with the sales and installation teams. The role involves guiding clients through product selections, ensuring accurate measurements, and maintaining clear communication from initial concept through installation. The designer will also support showroom presentations, maintain product knowledge, and contribute to a positive, professional customer experience.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Kitchen & Bath Design and practical knowledge of Cabinetry
• Customer Service and Communication skills to work effectively with homeowners, contractors, and internal teams
• Sales skills to assist with product recommendations, quotations, and closing design projects
• Proficiency with design software (e.g., 2020 Design or similar) and basic computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans, measurements, and construction documents
• Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time management skills
• Previous experience in kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, or building supply industry preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional design or trade-related education is a plus
