Midcan Powersports is looking for an experienced and motivated General/Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our powersports dealership while also managing the Finance & Insurance process for our customers. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving overall dealership performance and ensuring a professional and profitable customer experience for all customers.

The ideal candidate is a strong automotive or powersports dealership leader with proven F&I experience, excellent business acumen, and the ability to lead a team while remaining actively involved in dealership operations

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations and performance of the powersports dealership.
• Lead, coach, and develop dealership employees to achieve operational, sales, and profitability objectives.
• Manage dealership sales, inventory, expenses, customer experience, and overall financial performance.
• Establish and monitor departmental goals, budgets, and key performance indicators.
• Drive sales growth, gross profit, customer retention, and overall dealership profitability.
• Ensure effective coordination between Sales, Parts, Service, and other dealership departments.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and manage employees while maintaining a positive, high-performance culture.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, lenders, and business partners.
• Manage the Finance & Insurance process, including structuring deals, securing financing, and presenting F&I products.
• Work with lenders and financial institutions to obtain competitive financing options for customers.
• Ensure all sales and F&I documentation is accurate and compliant with dealership, lender, manufacturer, and legal requirements.
• Review dealership performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency, sales, and profitability.
• Ensure dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous management experience in an automotive or powersports dealership.
• Previous experience as a Finance & Insurance Manager, Business Manager, Sales Manager, or General Manager is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience selling and structuring automotive or powersports financing.
• Strong understanding of lending practices, credit applications, deal structuring, and F&I products.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to maximize gross profit.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to understand and manage dealership performance metrics.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused dealership environment.
• Strong computer skills and experience with dealership management systems.
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Powersports industry experience is considered an asset.
