Job description

Metropolitan Companies is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join our team! The Assistant Superintendent will help manage the schedule and activities of the project for Multi-Family Apartment complexes in Haverford Square by Metropolitan under the direction of the Construction Superintendent. Leading the on-site construction team and overseeing all construction activities
Hosting and attending office and on-site construction meetings
Managing and updating the project timeline to ensure contractual deadlines are met
Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness
Ensuring quality standards are met
Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs
Take meeting minutes, upload photographs and update project schedules
Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals
Maintain client satisfaction
Competencies:
Construction knowledge and ability to read blueprints
Ability to lead a team of subcontractors and field carpenters
Proficiency with taking and uploading digital photographs
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Able to follow and understand Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Requirements:
1-3 years' experience in construction
Valid Driver's License

Preferred:

Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent 
OSHA 10 training
Proficiency in Procore or similar software
