Job description

Metropolitan Companies is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join our team! The Assistant Superintendent will support the Superintendent with scheduling and managing activities of the project for Multi-Family Apartment complexes as part of our Haverford Square by Metropolitan division. Responsibilities:
  • Assisting Superintendent with all construction activities
  • Attending office and on-site construction meetings; may have to lead meetings when Superintendent is not available
  • Managing and updating the project timeline with Superintendent to ensure contractual deadlines are met
  • Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness
  • Ensuring quality standards are met
  • Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs
  • Taking meeting minutes, upload photographs and update project schedules
  • Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals
  • Maintaining client satisfaction
Competencies:
  • Construction knowledge and ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to lead a team of subcontractors and field carpenters
  • Proficiency with taking and uploading digital photographs
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Able to follow and understand Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Requirements: 
  • 1-3 years' construction experience
  • Valid Driver's License and own transportation

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
