Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for a Practical Nursing Adjunct who is responsible for instructing students in the classroom, laboratory, and at clinical sites under the direction of PN faculty.
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Current unencumbered professional license as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- At least two (2) years full-time experience in a clincal setting providing direct patient care as an RN required, within the last five years.
- Master's Science degree in nursing preferred.
- Current American Heart Association, BLS certification required
- Updated immunization record required for clinical sites.
- Supervises nursing students in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
- Instructs curriculum, records attendance, grades assignments and tests.
- Guides clinical practice of students.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Follows all guidelines for instruction as set forth by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, or other governing agencies.
- Instructs and assists in the safe operation and care of equipment and materials used in the classroom and laboratory settings.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
