Key Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of the Physician Assistant include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations, gathering patient histories, and interpreting lab results to diagnose common health conditions and illnesses.
• Formulating personalized treatment plans, prescribing necessary medications, and managing therapy regimens under the guidance and supervision of a licensed physician.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.
• Educating patients about their diagnoses, treatment alternatives, and preventative care strategies, encouraging them to participate actively in their healthcare decisions.
• Maintaining precise electronic health records (EHR), adhering to all relevant privacy regulations and organizational policies.
• Monitoring patients' progress and making adjustments to treatment plans to maximize patient health outcomes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Possession of an active Physician Assistant license in Maryland.
• National certification by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Preferred Experience

While candidates with at least two years of clinical experience are preferred, we welcome applications from new graduates with eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Previous experience in a hospital setting or specialty practice will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Metro Solutions Medical Center offers a competitive salary structure ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
