Work Environment

This role is facilitated entirely online, allowing you flexibility while providing critical mental health support to clients in a detox center setting. You will operate from your home office but engage directly with colleagues and patients through virtual meetings and consultations. Our remote environment promotes collaboration and connection, ensuring you remain an active participant in our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on your evaluations.
• Provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Implement behavioral health services, ensuring coordination among multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic patient records in compliance with confidentiality regulations and organizational policies.
• Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary, demonstrating empathy and mature judgment to manage at-risk scenarios effectively.
• Refer clients to specialized treatment programs, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, when indicated.
• Conduct screenings for substance abuse, providing referrals to supportive local resources as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will largely consist of individuals undergoing detoxification, coping with substance use and mental health disorders. This population often requires sensitive and immediate intervention. You will play a vital role in providing initial assessments to identify their needs and guide them toward healing, recovery, and integration into healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Exceptional clinical skills with a solid foundation in mental health practices.
• Proven crisis intervention capabilities and a compassionate approach to client care.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for interaction with administration and other health care professionals.
• Computer literacy to manage electronic health records efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to collaborate within a culturally diverse team, fostering an inclusive treatment environment.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with the following experience will be prioritized:

• Experience working in detox centers or rehabilitation facilities tackling severe mental health issues.
• Familiarity with local community resources and programs for patients affected by addiction.
• Advanced knowledge of current federal and state behavioral health regulations.
